I haven't posted anything in a very long time. But I think Debbie Doos Pet Party is the perfect opportunity to come out of hibernation.
This is Bubba. His name comes from the movie, Forrest Gump, because I knew he would be "my best good friend." He is also affectionately known as Bubba Monkey, Monkey Man, Stinky Buttles, and a whole host of other silly names.
He truly is the love of my life (don't tell my husband). He is a 3 1/2 year old Maltese and he weighs in at nine pounds. He was almost ten pounds at his last vet visit. I was told that the cheese slices I was giving him everyday at lunch time, were the equivalent of me eating a pound of cheese, so I had to cool it with the cheese. But it's his favorite food!
This is his "room." He stays in the play pen while we are at work.
I made a name sign for him by drilling holes in the outline of his name and "sewing" ribbon through them.
Yes, I sewed a slipcover for his kennel and underneath it is a fleece blanket to keep out the chill. We live in Minnesota and it can get drafty.
He also has some artwork. An illustration of Lassie and framed pages from "The Puppy Twins" (but I wasn't sure if I could post them due to copyright). And, his own Wordle.
He's very affectionate and sleeps in our bed every night. He is our "snuggly buggly bear." This is his favorite way to sleep wrapped right around one of our heads, silly Bubba.
Thank you so much to Debbie and Lucy for hosting this party! I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone's pet.
And I've been working on some projects and I'll be starting to post again.
Thanks for stopping by!
