I got them for $5 for the pair at our local "white elephant" sale. They had seen better days. It's hard to see here but the legs had a very sad stain color and the crushed velvet was kinda "crusted" velvet in places. But they had great potential. I am STILL working on our master bedroom makeover (although now we are moving to a different room which makes the project even larger!) and I thought these chairs would make a great addition.
Here is the after!
Black painted legs, new fabric and trim and these girls are now stylish ladies. A great way to add a bold pattern but not in an overwhelming way. And I know it's hard to tell but I did keep the button tufting detail.
Maybe someday I will get to show you how they look in the room :)
Thanks for stopping by!
